Just when you thought they could not get any better.... Pampers has completely redesigned its Cruisers diapers with no sacrifice in performance. They are the brand’s 1st diaper for the best players in the world™ – babies! The new Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max helps lock wetness away up to 12 hours, making this their driest diaper ever. The new Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max officially hits shelves in March!

For the first time ever, babies will have their gold-medal moment too this Olympic season by sporting their own high performance gear – Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max. To celebrate the launch of the brand’s first-ever high performance diaper, Pampers has outfitted Team USA athletes and their families, with branded Team USA Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max as they head to Vancouver for the Olympic Winter Games.

Although these Team USA diapers are not for sale, starting tomorrow morning January 29th parents everywhere will be able to request a free sample three-pack of Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max on Pampers.com If the sample sent includes a diaper stamped Team USA (randomly inserted in select sample packs), their baby will win a year’s supply of Pampers diapers!

For many Olympic athletes, bringing home a medal is not just their dream – it’s their family dream. And as such, Pampers is working with two medal contender athletes – 2006 Olympic gold medal speed skater, Chad Hedrick and 2007 World Skeleton, Noelle Pikus-Pace - as they and their families prepare to “go for gold” at the 2010 Olympic games.

Eco-Friendly Wednesday- Bayes Cleaners Euro Spa Handsoap review/giveaway

Welcome to my Eco-Friendly Wednesday post that I had intended on posting last week but did not. Sorry for the delay I got a bid side tracked with other things. But on to business...

My oldest son suffers from eczema and it gets worse int he winter. For years I NEVER made the connection between the eczema and what was in the soap. SLS Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and its close relative SLES Sodium Laureth Sulfate are additives that are commonly used in many soaps, shampoos, detergents, toothpastes and other products that we expect to "foam up". Both chemicals are very effective foaming agents, chemically known as surfactants. My son is allergic to them! Not only do his hands get red and dry but he gets canker sores, another side effect, and this year eczema all over his body! We figured this out only about 2 months ago.
When I had the opportunity to try EuroSpa Naturals Hand soap from Bayes Eco-Friendly Cleaners I was pretty excited.
EuroSpa Naturals Hand soap are not only SLS and SLES free they are Paraben, EDTA, and Phlalate free as well. No nasty chemicals at all, and of course they are Non-Toxic & Biodegradable. EuroSpa Naturals are the first line of scented hand soaps formulated in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s DESIGN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Program

I was sent the Unscented and the Lavender to try. I encouraged my son to use the Unscented one even though I know Lavender is calming. The first thing he noticed was that it does not lather as much as traditional hand soaps this of course is because there are no foaming agents. He told me a few days ago that he really likes the soap and and his hands have cleared up with out the use of any special lotions. I am happy he is happy! I put the Lavender bottle in the kitchen, I love Lavender.
Here is at he history of Bayes from their web site:
In 2004, on a beautiful July night in Southern California , co-founders Matt Bays and Mark Cunningham were listening to their wife’s (for once as they tell the story) conversation about being frustrated with the household cleaners on the market that did not perform up to expectations. Both of us had just installed kitchens with Stainless Steel appliances and we literally could not find anything on the market that cleaned and shined the steel. The next day Matt and Mark discussed plans to develop a line of high performance cleaners that performed up to expectations.
Our goal and focus was clear from the beginning, the products had to outperform all other cleaners on the market while being safe for our families and the environment.
The task seemed simple enough. Yea right!
Well it took over 1 ½ years, but on January 26th, 2005 Lab Clean LLC was founded.
Over a year later in March of 2006 Lab Clean LLC launched the complete Bayes product line at the International Home and Houseware Show in Chicago. We had 4 products to introduce: Stainless Steel, Granite, Furniture and BBQ Cleaner. Yes, you have probably guessed it; we had no clue what we were doing, but we did know that we had products that worked! We must have handed out over 2000 samples. As show attendees and retail buyers made it back from Chicago to try the samples in their own homes, our phone has not stopped ringing!
Today, Lab Clean LLC has over 20 products including the recent launch of our new EuroSpa Hand Soap line. Our focus has stayed the same from day one and is reflected in our mission statement:

“Formulate and market the finest premium products
that clean, shine and protect our most valuable
possessions while ensuring minimal impact
on the environment, without sacrificing quality”

We are not only dedicated to the environment, but are dedicated to customer service. So please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, Matt or Mark will respond. We guarantee it! Be true to your community and environment. Go Green!

Just call me Grace

I will not be posting my Eco-Friendly Wednesday post today. I had a bit of a mishap today and my wrist, elbow, shoulder, and butt are a bit sore. It all went down like this.
I was delivering Meals on Wheels today, I pulled into an alley to park and deliver my first of 12 meals. I had the basket of the cold packs on the front seat next to me as it was also the day to deliver the new menus. The hot packs were in the back of my vehicle, they totally stunk today. I have no idea what it was but UGH! Anyway I grab the cold pack, the menu and open my car door. I take ONE step out of my truck and BOOM I totally fell, and damn it hurt! Cold pack goes flying I say SOB and quickly get up as there is a micro brewery next door with big windows and I am sure someone saw me! I get meal in and the lady says..."I heard swear did you fall on the ice?" Um...see she is blind so her hearing is sharp as a tack I guess. I apologized and the she asks me to go feed the birds. WHAT? Yes of course I fed the birds. The I left and delivered my meals in pain! It hurts to type!

So I hurt and bad right now...done typing for tonight. Will post in my Eco-Friendly Wednesday tomorrow...it is a review AND giveaway! So check back later!

Try Something New Tuesday....Blushing POM Holiday Cheesecake

Welcome to my Try Something New Tuesday...today it is dessert! A few weeks ago I was contacted by the kind folks at POM Wonderful, we love pomegranate juice in our house so I was happy to help them out!

POM Wonderful is a global brand committed to innovation and wellness. They grow and market their pomegranates and pomegranate-based products that are healthy, honest and essential to the well-being of humankind. They are the only company that grows, harvests, processes and ships our own pomegranates.

From their site:
Backed by Science
Only POM Wonderful products are backed by $32 million in medical research. Actually, we are the only pomegranate juice backed by any medical research at all.

There has been a lot of talk lately about the role of pomegranates in promoting heart health, prostate health and proper erectile function. But while these results are promising, keep in mind that all of the research has been done on POM Wonderful products. Our juice comes from a unique pomegranate variety (the Wonderful), which is grown in a unique location (California), and which is juiced with proprietary technology (ours!). No other pomegranate juice can claim these distinctions, and no other brand has been clinically tested.

So what are the medical results on POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice?

Cardiovascular

A 2005 study published in the American Journal of Cardiology showed improved blood flow to the heart in patients drinking 8oz daily of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice for 3 months.

Researchers studied a total of 45 patients with coronary heart disease who had reduced blood flow to the heart.

Patients drinking POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice experienced a 17% improvement in blood flow, compared to an 18% worsening in patients drinking
a placebo.

Prostate

An initial UCLA medical study, published by The American Association for Cancer Research, found hopeful results for prostate health.

The study tested 45 men with recurrent prostate cancer who drank 8 oz of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice daily for two years. Post-prostate surgery PSA average doubling time increased from 15 to 54 months. PSA is a protein marker for prostate cancer, and a slower PSA doubling time indicates slower disease progression.

Erectile Function

A pilot study released in the International Journal of Impotence Research in 2007 examined 61 male subjects with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. Compared to participants taking a placebo, those men drinking 8oz of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice daily for four weeks were 50% more likely to experience improved erections.

Antioxidant Superpower

Numerous independent laboratory tests have shown that POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice has superior antioxidant content, ounce for ounce, compared to other juices and beverages.

WOW!! What an amazing fruit! I was asked to try out one of the many recipes on their site and I chose cheesecake! I must admit I have never attempted to make cheesecake before and this was so yummy! We had a few pieces and I brought the rest to work today and it was gone within minutes...the reaction was the same...YUMMY. I was asked by several people to bring in the recipe.

Blushing POM Holiday Cheesecake
Ingredients
Crust:
2 cups graham cracker or chocolate cookie crumbs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
Filling:
4 8-oz. packages cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping:
Juice from 34 large POM Wonderful Pomegranates* or 1 1/2 cups POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Garnish: (Optional)
1/3 cup arils from 1 large POM Wonderful Pomegranate
Fresh mint leaves
Preparation
Crust:
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Stir together crumbs, sugar and butter until moistened.
3. Press evenly into bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Filling:
1. In a large mixer bowl beat cream cheese and sugar on medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs, milk, vanilla and salt just until blended. Pour over crust in pan; spread evenly.
2. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350F and bake 20 to 25 minutes more, until cake is firm at sides and soft-set (jiggles slightly) in the center. Do not over-bake.
3. Cool cake in pan on a wire rack for up to 2 hours, then cover and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours before serving. (Refrigerate cake for up to 1 week.)
Topping:
1. Prepare garnish Score 1 fresh pomegranate and place in a bowl of water. Break open the pomegranate under water to free the arils (seed sacs). The arils will sink to the bottom of the bowl and the membrane will float to the top. Sieve and put the arils in a separate bowl. Reserve 1⁄3 cup of the arils from fruit and set aside. (Refrigerate or freeze remaining arils for another use.)
2. Prepare fresh pomegranate juice.*
3. In saucepan combine juice with sugar and cornstarch. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Cool slightly; spread glaze over cake.
4. Sprinkle reserved arils on top; garnish with mint leaves if desired
.

I used graham crackers for the crust and I could not find ANY pomegranates ANYWHERE in my town, I think I just missed the season. I was only going to use them for the garnish as I had POM Wonderful juice for the sauce. I also used 2 packages of regular cream cheese and 2 1/3 less fat cream cheese.
ENJOY!!!

The opinions on my2boyz are that of the blog author. I do not take responsibility for a different outcome. I did not receive any monetary compensation. The only compensation I received was a case of POM Wonderful juice.

Feeling guilty, yet so thankful

Here I sit on my new comfy couch all wrapped up in my blanket with my laptop and watching TV at the same time. I have a roof over my head, it my not be a big roof but it is mine, well almost, we still have a mortgage. I have food in my fridge although my boys would tell you we have "nothing" to eat. I have a nice Pathfinder and Maxima in my garage. I have heat and running clean water. I have plenty of clothes in my closet but I never have anything to wear. My boys have video game systems, iPods, computers and a TV in their room with cable. We live a happy comfortable life.

I sit and watch the news coverage from Haiti and I can not help but feel guilty about our "things" when so many have lost everything. When so many have died. When so many children are left to fend for them selves. The destruction I have seen on TV takes my breath away, makes my heart ache and my stomach hurt. I can only imagine what it is like to see first hand, it must be so difficult and must seem surreal. I realize that Haiti was in very bed shape before the quake. Did you know that most people in Haiti make $1 A DAY? That more then 1/3 did not have clean drinking water BEFORE the quake? How can this be? I don't understand it. I keep hearing about how many Americans were in Haiti for humanitarian relief. The aid has been pouring in for years so how could they not have clean drinking water? There is NO REASON that in this day and age people should go with out the basic necessities especially clean safe drinking water. Where has all this aid been going? Where is their president? Has he reached out to his people? Or is he crying that he does not have a place to live? Did you see that palace? WTF??

I know that I should not feel guilty, I should feel blessed, thankful but I can't help the way I feel. So tonight I will hug my boys a little tighter and thank God for all my blessings and pray for the people of Haiti.

Time to brag~I am a mom and it's my right!

My boys are so wonderful, they are the light of my life! They are special in their own unique ways and we encourage them every chance we get. If you have been reading my blog then you know we have struggled with little man and his ADHD, which for the moment we have under TOTAL control. I don't talk much about big guy, he does not give us much trouble at all. Well I take that back this pre-teen hormonal crying because he can't play video games on school nights is getting a tad bit old. Other then that he is PERFECT!

Last week he came home and asked me if we could go see him in the National Geographic Geography Bee at his school, I answered "will see", it was on Tuesday and that is the day we have our sales meeting at work. My bosses do not like it when you are not there for the fun Tuesday events they always have planned (sarcasm). Sunday night came and big guy asked again, this time i said tell me more. Well it appears that only 2 students from each grade 4-8 made it to the school round. I then said "Of course i will be there to cheer you on" Hubby wanted to go but was unable to leave work.

Now I knew he would do well, he is a very bright kid. At our last parent teacher conferences his history teacher told me he was the only student who did not need to reference maps and he was amazed that he got the answer 99% of the time. I think his exact words were "He is super freaky smart when it comes to maps, I am amazed"

So there I am in the school muti-purpose room (our NEW gym in under construction...YIPPIE) staring at 10 VERY nervous students. There were 4 or 5 rounds and my son and another student were the last two standing. WOW!!! I was excited for him and sad. You see the student he was up against is a genius, I kid you not. This boy is so smart! He made it to the National Scrips Spelling Bee last year smart! He has never lost an academic competition at our school in fact he is the only student to will all the academic competitions at the school. The school is only 7 years old. So I am getting the "Oh poor kid is going to loose looks from all the parents" I felt stressed. It was sudden death. The first 2 questions both answered wrong..then came the question about Poland...The Vistula River runs through Poland into this Sea....Oh he better get this right! You see we are Polish..well I am so he is part. My grandparents were from there and we have studied the map of Poland in the past. I see him quickly write down the answer...the other student was thinking then wrote his answer.....well....guess who had it right? YEP!!! My boy!!! He won the school Geography Bee!! Everyone turned and looked at me with huge grins on their faces as this was HUGE! I looked over at the other student he look dumbfounded...I felt bad for him but only a little bit, hey my kid just won! He was beaming, perma grin, so proud of himself. the next step is a test he has to take to see if he qualifies for state, please keep your fingers crossed! He has been on the Geography Bee web site taking the mock tests and doing quite well.

I will keep you posted!

Oh the answer is the Baltic Sea.

Little Miss Matched- FAIL

I am so irritated right now at Little Miss Matched and their customer service or should I say lack there of? In November right before Thanksgiving I placed an order on their web site. I was excited as I ordered some Christmas gifts and a pair of socks for me! I got the package in a very timely manner however they sent me the wrong socks! Bummer! I called them and left a message as they were closed because of the Thanksgiving holiday. I waited for a week and no call back. So I called again no answer, no answering machine. So I kept calling several times before I got someone. I explained what had happened and it was decided that I should keep the wrong socks and they would send me the correct ones. GREAT right? This was about 3 weeks before Christmas. I waited and waited and waited no socks! Christmas came and went so I contacted them via their contact form on their web site and I waited and waited and waited no response and no socks! I was not happy at all!
I found an email address for them and sent them a "nice" email stating that I was less them thrilled and not impressed at all with their customer service. I even mentioned I was a blogger and I had a post ready to go if I did not hear back in a timely manner.
I got a response "Sorry, we will look into it" WTH??? That's all I get? A few days later I get a very nice mail from someone who actually took the time to apologize and explained this is not how their company operates and look for my socks, they would be arriving soon! YIPPIE!
Today I got my socks BUT with an envelope from the post office saying I owe $0.97 for postage! Uh what? I know it is only $0.97 but it is the principal behind it! They messed up BIG time and now I have to pay for postage AGAIN?
So Little Miss Matched you FAIL in the worst way and I will NEVER place an order from you again.

UPDATE:
I received an email from Little Miss Matched saying they would credit my charge card back $1.00 and if I ever choose to order from them again I will get 10% off. I do appreciated them trying to make this right however I plan on NEVER ordering or purchasing anything from them again, the damage has been done.

Eco-Friendly Wednesday- Ecostore review/giveaway

Welcome to my first Eco-Friendly Wednesday. Every week come here and see what I am trying to do to make the world a little more "green" you will find useful advice, some reviews and some giveaways. I do hope that find my tips useful, I am sure none of them we be new ground breaking ideas but my goal is to help you become a little more "green".

We hear A LOT about Eco-Friendly cleaning products and to be honest I love having the option as I do not always buy "green". I know what you are thinking but I am also a very avid coupon clipper and sometimes I get cleaning items for FREE~that I cannot pass up. But for the most part I try to stick to the Eco-Friendly products as much as I can!

A few weeks ago I was approached by Ecostore USA asking if I would be interested in trying some of their products, of course I said yes! I had heard of Ecostore as over a year ago I won a bottle of their Baby shampoo on a blog giveaway. I can tell you that bottle lasted FOREVER, I have to say well over 6 months. We jokingly called it "the never ending bottle".

Here is little information on Ecostore, taken from their web site:

Our eco friendly, plant-based household cleaning products are as effective as the leading supermarket brands, and our body and baby care ranges are gentle on your skin and are simply beautiful to use.
All of our products are made from plant- and mineral-based ingredients, free of toxic chemicals that bring people closer to nature with non-toxic, environmentally safe solutions that also help to reduce our carbon footprint. Our products also help to ensure value for the dollar for our customers. We know it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products but we’ve found a way to safely super-concentrate our formulations. Our super-concentrates means that a little really does go a long way - saving you money by cutting down significantly on cost per use.

"No Nasty Chemicals" is the foundation of the entire product line and philosophy of Ecostore. CLICK HERE to watch a video for more information. You will not regret it I promise!

I was sent two of their many fabulous items, Auto Dish Powder and Laundry Powder.

The Auto Dish Powder worked great! I have tried several other Eco-Friendly dish detergents and have been less then impressed with SOME of them, just a reminder that not all things are created equal. This dish powder did the trick, I even left some food on a few of the plates just to see if it would blast off the yucky bits, and it did!

The Laundry powder was the best! I am in love with this stuff! My biggest test was my Kindergartner's white uniform shirts. I only own 2 of them as white tends to not stay white for very long when worn by ANY member of my family especially my 6 year old. I was quite impressed with how bright white they were and most of the stains were gone. I say most as there were a few already that were very set in, those are NEVER coming out. So my whites were white and my colors bright, this is going to be a permanent fixture in my Laundry Room. It is uniform approved.

Right now Ecostore is offering 50% off everything in their baby line PLUS when you spend $25.00 you get FREE shipping! Now that is a great deal.

Ecostore has graciously offered one of my readers a $25 gift certificate to their on line store. So here are the rules:

Visit Ecostore and come back here and comment on what product you would like to try that. Must do this or all other entries will be void.

For additional entries which of course are ALWAYS optional

-Follow me on twitter and tweet this giveaway make sure you use @my2boyz in tweet. Leave link in comment (you can do this once a day-leave daily comment!)

-Follow me on Networked Blogs (2 additional entries-leave 2 comments)

-Follow my blog (2 additional entries-leave 2 comments)

If you do not have a way for me to contact you through your blog or you do not have a blog PLEASE make sure you leave your email in your comment so if you win I can contact you!

Giveaway ends on 1/20/2010 at 11:59 PM and winner will be chosen by random.org. Winner will have 48 hours to respond to email or new winner will be drawn.

Thank you for stopping by and good luck!

Try Something New Tuesday....Creamy Tomato-Basil Pasta with Chicken

Welcome to my first Try Something New Tuesday! I am so excited about the weekly feature as I have made the commitment to try a new recipe once a week, quite the undertaking if you know me personally! I am a creature of habit. I find my self making the same things over and over and it is getting BORING! So I hope you enjoy the new weekly feature and let me know if you try any of the recipes and your thoughts!

Last week I was approached by the Philadelphia Cream Cheese company asking me to try a new recipe and let them know our thoughts the timing was PERFECT! Seriously they had me at cream cheese!

Creamy Tomato-Basil Pasta with Chicken

Prep: 30 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

3 cups penne pasta, uncooked
¼ cup KRAFT sun-dried tomato dressing, divided
4 small boneless skinless Chicken Breasts
1 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
½ tsp. each garlic powder & black pepper
4 oz (1/2 package) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed
2 cups grape tomatoes
½ cup KRAFT shredded parmesan cheese
8 fresh basil leaves, cut into strips

1. Cook pasta as directed on package. Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp. dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken, cover. Cook 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until done (165º F). Remove chicken from skillet, cover to keep warm. Carefully wipe out skillet with paper towel.
2. Add remaining dressing, broth, and seasonings to skillet; cook 3 to 4 min. or until heated through. Add Neufchatel; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until Neufchatel is melted. Stir in tomatoes, cook 3 min.
3. Drain pasta. Add to ingredients in skillet with Parmesan and basil, mix well. Serve topped with chicken.

All I can say is DELICIOUS!! This was so good and super easy to make. My husband thought it was wonderful and said "You can make this again, anytime this is yummy" My boys did not try it but then again they never eat ANYTHING I make unless it is tacos or pancakes.

The only change I made was with the Philadelphia Neufchatel Cheese, my local Wal-Mart did not have it and I did not feel like going to the grocery store for only 1 item so I used Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

So there you are my first installment of Try Something New Tuesday! Enjoy!

The opinions voiced on my2boys are the of the author. I do not take responsibility if you have a different experience then I did. The only compensation I received for this post was free product coupons and a Philadelphia Cream Cheese cookbook.

In your face ADHD

A few months ago I wrote a post about my journey into ADHD and I wanted to give you an update as it has been 3 months since that post. It has been quite the journey, between trying to get him to eat applesauce laced with Attend by Vaxa, weekly Chiropractor appointments, diet changes and behavior charts. I have learned so much and I am learning more everyday. I learned that I can get him to swallow those big vitamins by telling him to swallow it like you are swallowing gum so no more applesauce and I am sure he will NEVER eat it again. That was huge and my new advice for parents trying to get their kids to swallow pills, because face it all of our children have swallowed gum.

We have taken dairy out of his diet, his wonderful Chiropractor told me eliminate any foods he craves, if it is craved good possibility there is some sort of allergy. He LOVES milk, yogurt, cheese and ice cream. After doing research I learned a good percentage of those with ADHD are lactose intolerant, which again proves that there is a connection with food allergies and ADHD and makes me wonder how many children who are on prescription medications could be helped with simple diet change. So for 3 months we have been been following a strict routine and it has paid off!

Right before the Christmas break I was at the school dropping off some stuff for my 12 year old when little guys teacher called me into her classroom. I jokingly said "Nope sorry, don't have time" as I was so afraid she was going to have something "bad" to tell me. I about burst into tears when she told me that he has been doing 110% better! He has moved up a reading level skipping 20 lessons, he is just learning to read so this is HUGE! She said keep doing what you are doing because it is working! I wanted to say " I told you so" but kept that to myself and smiled and thanked her so much for the update, she made my week.

I was beaming with pride not only for my son but for myself and sticking to my guns and doing it my why when almost EVERYBODY around me was telling me it would not work! This is not the end to his great success. Last week I was at the school again, this time doing my lunch parent duties when the principal pulled me aside, again I was thought CRAP, now what? I just hate that feeling I am not sure if it is because I still fear the principal from grade school or if I am afraid what she is going to have "bad" news about my boys. She proceeds to tell me that she was joking around with Seth and told him she wasn't even sure he went to the school anymore because she has not seen him in her office in months, when she was seeing him in there everyday! She said he giggled and told her that he has been working really hard and he was proud of himself. Then she tells me he EARNED the Super Student Award for his behavior goal sheet, ONLY THE SECOND STUDENT TO WIN IT ALL YEAR! WOW! Right?? I was again the proud mom beaming with pride. When he got home from school he came running to me with his award in hand jumping up and down saying " I did it, I did it" I could have burst into tears. He was so proud of himself, you could see it in his eyes and by the pact he would screaming "I did it" He had 3 100% days in a row, yes 3 of them.

It is so hard to put into words how proud we are of his accomplishments, we are beyond thrilled, elated, jumping for joy, screaming at the top of our lungs happy. And to think we were told that he would not succeed if we did not put him on medication!

SO IN YOUR FACE ADHD...THIS MOM....KICKED YOUR ASS!!!

Rethinking Things

My poor blog has fallen silent for a few weeks, I have been neglecting her but not on purpose. I have been rethinking the whole blog thing. I love blogging and I am not going to stop, just wanted to make that clear but some change is coming.

When I started blogging my first post was about my obsession with Ben and Jerry my other loves. I look back over my posts and I realized something. I think I have lost my focus! I started doing reviews by accident when I started my Tuesday Green Tip posts. I talked about the Eco friendly products i liked and used and companies noticed. The next thing I knew my inbox was flooded with companies wanting to give me things to review, how fun! It has been great and I have loved every minute of it and I will continue to do those reviews and giveaways but I do not want them to be what my blog is about!

So here is what is changing. First my New Years goal is to try a new recipe a week so I am officially calling Tuesday's....Try Something New Tuesday. I will be sharing with you the new recipe that I have tried and letting you know my thoughts and of course my families thoughts. I might turn it into a share a recipe or even have you my readers recommend a recipe for me to try, I am still thinking that part over. Wednesday's will be dedicated to Eco friendly ideas and product reviews and some giveaways of Eco friendly products, I will be calling it Eco-Friendly Wednesday. The rest of the week will be a combination of personal posts, which I have gotten away from, and reviews and giveaways.

There are some other things I am working on but until they are complete I am keeping silent!

So there you go...change is coming not big for now but a change none the less....so starting this Tuesday look for a yummy recipe...here is a hint...Chicken...pasta....you will have to wait for the rest!
