So this morning I was snuggling on the couch with my baby...well he is 5 but he is my baby! We were talking about things that are important to a 5 year old. Star Wars, Webkins, trains and boogers! Yes boogers! the conversation left me wondering....and a bit disturbed.
5 year old: Everyone at my school eats their boogers
Me: Um what? That is gross. Are you sure?
5 year old: Yep, I am sure
Me: Well...that is just sick and again I assure you that not everyone is eating their boogers, name one person
5 year old: Me
Me: NO WAY.....you can't eat your boogers...that is just gross
5 year old: Will it kill me?
Me: No but it is still nasty
5 year old: Will it make me sick?
Me: No I don't think so but again it is gross, band manners...we do not eat our boogers
5 year old: They are good
Me: UGH!!!! You did not just say that.....
5 year old: Yes I did
Me: SPEECHLESS
HELP ME!!!!!

Ugh! I can really wait for these conversations! I would literally be sick. I'm sure I would have lied and said they can make you sick, just to get him to stop. I'm sure that's not the best approach though!
