On to the topic at hand...Green Tip.
Today we will revisit the bathroom we visited this room here. Today we are talking about toothpaste.
There are several brands of natural toothpaste Jason, Dessert Essence and Toms of Maine are just a few.
I am a fan of Toms of Maine, have been since high school and this is what we currently use. My husband and I use their Natural Whole care in winter mint, it leaves your mouth nice and sparkling clean. The boys use their children's Silly Strawberry but occasionally use ours, they both like the natural minty taste.
Toms of Maine is dedicated to making all natural products that are never tested on animals. They produce their products in an environmentally substantial manner, in fact ALL their product containers are recyclable. Check their web site here for more information.

I am slowly working my way to green products everywhere in the house. I use up the stuff I have becuase I don't want to be wasteful. I do wonder if it's better to use it up then start anew with new products or not. I mean, if you throw them out, they are still getting into the environment, you know? Next up, P is moving to Burts Bees shaving cream.

ReplyDeleteI love Tom's of Maine dental hygiene products- especially the Spearmint mouthwash. Yes, Tom's is a little pricier, but the ingredients are safe and natural. Spearmint is so refreshing. I haven't had a need for burning, saccharine Listerine in ages. Thanks for the entry!

ReplyDeleteI recently went natural with toothpaste. I got the trader joes brand that is floride free. I like but my husband thought it tasted like black licorish. I would love to get him a natural toothpaste with a great flavor. It is so scary all of the toxins that go into toothpaste, Aluminium and others i can't spell. THanks
